When you start with keto you may find yourself worrying a lot about macros and whether you are getting enough fat or too much protein.

Thats the important one. When you begin, err on the side of fat since your body will convert excess protein to glucose.
The long and short of it is that you need less protein and more, more fat.
Once you get into ketosis it does become easier to eat as your body requires. Off course if you are trying to actively lose weight then you also need to check your calories.
