You are probably wondering why holistic? A holistic approach means thinking about the big picture. … e.g.In a medical setting, holistic refers to addressing the whole person, including their physical, mental, and emotional health, while taking social factors into consideration. And that is the essence of my approach. There are many factors that contribute to how we treat ourselves and we can only make progress when we look at the whole picture.

I have a background in academia with Bachelors’s in Business Management and a Masters in Research. I now work from home and parent five young children. My family is at the center of my life and my work fits in around them – they give me joy and purpose.

It was for them that I started to look for holistic ways to cope with depression. Through lifestyle choices, I ended up on keto and just like that my life changed. I felt healthier in myself both mentally and physically. Before I knew it – I was running 10K race, taking part in triathlons, facing my fear of water by finally learning to swim at the age of 38!
